1. Give it your best shot
If you are going to do something, make sure you give it everything you’ve got. Great ideas come from pushing the boundaries.
2. Treat others as you want to be treated
It’s really quite simple. If you’re nice to other people, they will be more likely to be nice to you. Smile at someone and they’ll probably smile back. People mirror what they see.
3. Admit when you make a mistake
If something goes wrong, take responsibility and get the help you need to fix the situation. Think of it as a learning experience.
4. It’s a good thing to share
OK, no you don’t have to share your most prized possessions. But when you do openly share ideas, it creates a great opportunity to engage with other and come up with even better ideas.
5. Things always look better after a nap
There’s nothing worse than trying to push through a situation when you’re tired. Maybe you don’t need an actual nap, but things do usually look better and solutions become more readily apparent after you take a break.
6. Enjoy the ride
There will always be deadlines. And, it’s easy to think how great things will be when you finish. But, as soon as you finish, there will be another project and another deadline. So, enjoy the process.
